That's me standing on the right beside the trailer. I'm chillin' waiting for the crane to arrive and set up.

There's a few camera groups along the Hwy1 construction taking pictures every 15 minutes 24hrs a day. I searched through them for the days/times I was there and found quite a few where you can easily see the tractor & trailer I drive and some where I can see a blurry me when I zoom in 1500%. click_here_for_cameras

Now that I know where the cameras are aimed and at what times look for me next week, I'm back there this week for a few days of graveyard doing the same thing. Maybe I'll show everyone the full moon at 3am.:D

Driving that car on the Sea to Sky gave me an appreciation for the how fun driving can be again...I had a Toyota Supra that i bought new in 1983 and thought that was the be all end all...Seems even driving there at 125kms i was often passed by vehicles of lesser handling ---Are those ppl nuts?????
Just wanted to share a little joy with our new toy...Cheers!!!!

Okay, so last night i was at the PNE with my girlfriend, i bought some mini-donuts and we grabbed a bunch of food to go and i drove up to Burnaby...

Okay, so last night i was at the PNE with my girlfriend, i bought some mini-donuts and we grabbed a bunch of food to go and i drove up to Burnaby mountain, and parked in the lot at the top by horizons. Usually its a pretty chill place, on warm nights you can sit on the benches, and on cold ones you can just sit in your car and talk (or whatever else if you got tinted windows). Im up there quite often because my girlfriends place is just 2 mins away and ive never had any problems with anyone.

Anyways, so im just talking to my girlfriend and eating an aero-mint mcflurry (which is really good by the way) and this car pulls up beside me, and i thought nothing of it, people usually try to give each other some space, but sometimes there isnt much. So then after 5 mins the car leaves, again nothing out of the ordinary. 5 mins later, the same car comes back and parks in the same spot, so i look over, and its a dude, on his own. His lights were never on so i never got a look at his face, nor could i tell which direction his head was pointed, but at times it looked like he was looking towards me. So again after 5 mins he leaves. At this point even my girlfriend took notice of the strange behavior, but we concluded maybe he was meeting someone and couldnt find them, or selling weed or something like that.

So after another 5 mins, this guy comes back again! At this point i became a little worried that something was up. And my girlfriend was getting creeped out, and then she said she saw a red light come from his car, and then i dont know why but automatically i thought gun with a red dot sight (too much call of duty for me) so i instinctively grabbed my knife that i keep in the little spot in the door for situations such as this, but then she said it looked more like a red light on a video camera. So i looked over to my left, and the car was dark, i could see the guys head, which looked like it was facing me, but i didnt see a light, and so i kept looking and sure enough the guy raised something up and a red light came on like the one on a video camera. So then i got choked, and i wanted to go shit kick him right then and there, but i didnt want to freak out my girlfriend so i just started my car, pulled out of the spot nice and slow with my H.I.D's pointed straight at his car, pulled forward a bit so i was blocking him in, and took a nice 2 mins to calmly write down his license plate and to make him sweat a bit. Then i drove my girlfriend home, made sure no one was following me. Then i callled the RCMP non emergency line, filed a report, but from the update i got from the cops, they werent able to locate the perv.

So im just letting you guys know that there is a pervert on the loose, in a Red/Purple Chevy Malibu (the style before the new one) with the license plate number 188 JVK

If anyone sees this car, please throw a rock at it.

And on a side note, if you have any way of finding out where this fuck lives, or what his name is, please pm me. I just want to know whether he was recording me or the car. If its the car thats fine. lol.

I know it's last minute but I know a few of you guys have pm'd me about cutting fenders for wheel/tire clearance. I have Lawton comin over tomorrow for some fender work, thought some of you other guys might wanna come get this done so I can get it all done in one day.

If anyone is interested feel free to stop by, just do me a favour and PM me letting me know if you're coming and I'll respond with a time and address. Will only charge $100 for both rears

Few brief questions answered about cutting.
Cutting is done for maximum clearance, with cutting your paint won't flex chip and flake off like it may with rolling, simple straight cut followed up by some silicone does the trick. And if you plan on pulling fenders later on down the road, this makes it a lot easier to do that since it gets rid of the reinforcement metal strip.

Here are pictures from when I cut my fenders

as you can see, I didn't gorilla the fender like most guys do when they roll and pull, I got a smooth steady hand, nice and clean cut.
and here is how it looks after Steve @ OZ Designs painted my car

Wow. Um, that's unreasonable. There better be some leeway there. I often do more than 40km over the limit. One of the user comments is right - the limits themselves are often ridiculously low. (Lions Bay hiway anyone? Drops to 60km/hr in spots.) And did you read all the way to the bottom - tailgating can be a 7 day impoundment also??? WTF. How about impounding people's cars who drive slowly in the left lane and force me to tailgate in order to send a message: "Slower traffic keep right"?

ok here I got Zinn's headlights with me and I have pried them apart. I plan on repainting the inside bezel because as you can see the OEM paint has already started flaking around the projector shroud. I will be using high temp engine paint for this. A few details for you guys to read below

One thing that really sticks out to me is your guys friggin headlights are GLASS !!! not even a plastic mixture with it, just plain old glass !! I knock on the headlight lens and it sounds like my salad bowl !

but this is good news, because now I can use a glass polish to restore some shine to it and I can do both the outside AND the inside. The newer lights like 350z and G35 are plastic mixture and they all have a anti heat coating on the inside making it impossible to use anything other than regular soap and water.

the other thing is, silicone is very old and I doubt it will seal back properly so I will add some extra silicone when resealing. One of the headlights has some pretty bad damage, the plastic on the actual headlight is cracked allowing air and moisture to get inside of it, so I'm gonna do my best to seal it up with some silicone bring back some structure to it

here are the pics for now, will be adding more as the project progresses, I should be finishing this weekend.

Now that I am getting started on my interior phase on my build, I have been looking for any place locally in Vancouver that could sell me a few yards of some nice genuine black leather. I doubt that my local fabricland is going to have this. And I don't want to just put all this work in to some generic Vinyl that is just going to fade in the sun.

Maybe somebody has had experience where to buy some material like this? It has to be some good quality leather, cause I need to do this once, and do it right :D

Not going to do suede either, its not really meant to be in a GT car imo

Hey Folks, looking at potentially selling my exhaust as i want to build a custom 3" turbo back.

Bought this exhaust back in October or November (have receipt) from Ztune as one of my first mods. This exhaust sound is AWESOME!! i cannot tell you enough how much i love the sound especially when i was NA. It is stainless steel with titanium tips and canister.

it currently sells for $1020 CND with tax would put it around $1150. I am looking for 775 obo which gives you almost $400 savings.

http://www.exoticspeed.ca/product_in...oducts_id=4863

Also i have a set of Ichiba non-resonated test pipes which i will no longer need. Retail around 250 looking for $175obo

Or take the whole thing for $900

All parts are on my car and will not be parted out. I will sell exhaust once buyer gives a deposit and i get my exhaust custom made.

Thanks folks!

Hi guys, i posted this on another forum and didn't get very good info

anyways, i have a 04 G35 Coupe with a stock vq35de.
it's burning quite a bit of oil, on this current oil change, i've probably gone through 2.5L of oil.

since i bought it at 57k til now at 80k, it's been using mobil1 5w30 synthetic.

now i'm thinking of going to castrol, should i go with 10w30? 10w40? or maybe even 5w40?

what do you guys think?
